Let's go on adventures in budgeting, oh what fun,
Learning to manage money, one by one.
From saving for toys to planning a treat,
Let's embark on this journey, so neat!
First, let's talk about needs and wants,
Understanding them is where it all starts.
Needs are things we must have to live,
Like food and shelter, they're essential to give.
But wants are different, they're things we desire,
Like toys and treats that make us feel higher.
While wants are nice, they're not a must,
Understanding this is a budgeting trust.
Now, let's talk about setting a goal,
Aiming for something that makes us whole.
Whether it's saving for a toy or a trip,
Having a goal gives us a budgeting grip.
Next, let's track our money, every cent,
Knowing where it goes is time well spent.
With a list or a chart, let's make it clear,
Tracking our spending, we'll have no fear.
Then, let's make a plan, oh so wise,
Dividing our money to reach the skies.
Setting aside some for saving, it's true,
And some for spending, on things we pursue.
But let's not forget, as we journey through,
Budgeting is about more than a few.
It's about making choices, wise and true,
And learning to manage money, through and through.
So let's embrace adventures in budgeting, you see,
With saving and spending, we'll learn to be free.
For in understanding money, we'll find,
Financial literacy, a treasure to bind!
